Mike and Rachel // Engagement // Kirkwood, CA

Mike and Rachel were one of the funnest couples I've ever had the chance to work with! From the beginning Rachel had a big vision for her photo session. She wanted to run around in bathing suits, play in the snow, snowboard, have happy hour on the mountain and catch some apres ski action. Mike met Rachel at an end of the season party at Vail, CO. The story of how they met is pretty hilarious, and I must say amazing. There is a classic bar at the base of Vail where one of the Bar Tenders is famous for being able to balance a bottle of Champagne on her backside, I know, impressive, right? Mike made it his mission to find a girl at the party who could do the same. He met Rachel, she could balance the bottle, and the rest was history.

They both share a passion of adventure and travel. Mike started his own company, http://www.goodpeople.com - Mike and Rachel are exactly that, good people. Mike's online storefront is stocked with hand-selected clothing and gear that will inspire and support you on your next adventure. He highlights and supports business with a sustainable and socially responsible ethos and is connecting like minded people across the globe!

Rachel actually found me on Instagram, and has connected with other adventure girls through this platform - Thanks Instagram! :)

Mike proposed to Rachel at the top of Mt. Tamalpais Peak and they have plans to tie the knot in Thailand. Their love is nothing short of adventure itself, inspiring us all :)
